The Clay Roof Tile Council
Description

The Clay Roof Tile Council, established in 1981, is the UK's independent trade association for the promotion of clay roof tiles in refurbishment and new-build projects. CRTC comprises the five leading UK clay roof tile manufacturers, which between them boast over 1,000 years of production expertise and collectively represent over 90 per cent of UK clay roof tile production. The members are: Dreadnought Tiles, Marley Eternit, Keymer Hand Made Clay Tiles, Redland and Sandtoft Roof Tiles. The role of the CRTC is to promote to architects, specifiers, planners and the general public the advantage gained from using clay roof tiles - a traditional and aesthetic material – and to encourage a widespread appreciation of the considerable added value to individual buildings and significant improvement in the appearance of the built environment associated with the use of clay roof tiles.
